From 28 August to 11 September in Limassol, Cyprus wine festival is held. It’s a Grand celebration wine festival, held since 1961 and lasting about 10 days. For two weeks in the Park Spa town of Limassol can taste local wines.
It is most advantageous to come to the Park in the evening: from 20 to 23 hours are treated free of charge! A wine festival is held exclusively with the national colors. The sounds of the bouzouki (a traditional stringed instrument similar to Russian domra or balalaika) merge with singing famous songs and friendly cotton batters clear rhythm to all the dancers. You can even participate in the process of preparing the drink: roll up your pants and dance a La Celentano in the VAT of grapes under Cypriot music.
