We all know such holidays as new year, the eighth of March and all those that are for us, traditionally, were holidays. We’re also well-known international April fool’s day, Valentine’s day, the day of Cosmonautics.

Holiday, a holiday.

However, international holidays much more than we think. They are all established by the UN and UNESCO. And if we don’t celebrate, then surely at some point the world celebrate in a big way.

June 21-22 – summer solstice

 

June 21-22 is the pinnacle of the year, marks the turning of the Sun in winter and is called the feast of Kupala. This rotation of the Sun, which divides the year into two halves, anciently accompanied by a special festival.
